Bageecha: Prêt (Collection 01)
Brief
A womenswear Summer Spring 2024 collection of 6 silhouettes, inspired by stories revolving around nature. Stories to be selected on the basis of trend research, competitor brand research, and personal interests that resonate with brand’s design language. A major story could have 2-3 minor stories/directions in order to explore multiple directions/approaches in the collection.
Colours- Explore a fresh colour palette of bright and happy tones which should give the essence of a Summer Spring collection.
Focus Point- Casual ethnic wear with focus on print developments.
Here’s a glimpse into the foundation of this collection! Below are the mood board, concept, colour palette, client board, and look board, each carefully curated to shape the essence and direction of the designs.
Following this, I began developing motifs and transforming them into prints—details of which can be found in the Design Process section, out of which the chosen master print and the placements prints are used in this collection. Next, I explored and brainstormed silhouettes for the prêt-wear collection.
